HRH AOR & HRH Prog Festivals

No details yet that i can find but these two new logo's have appeared on the Hard Rock Hell website's forum.....

Be interesting to see how this shapes up, fingers crossed details will appear soon!

Location wise i would guess at a similar if not the same location of the other HRH events and conventions.....lets just pray it ain't London! hahaha...

Unfortunately for major artists it is usually Birmingham for me unless Cardiff gets something decent. However I have noticed that some artists are starting to skip there as well. An event aimed at only the UK market is gonna REALLY struggle...

If this happens at Pwhelli, i can see it dying on it's arse in fact i don't think a seaside location is a smart idea full stop. The HRH team have loads going on so aren't new to organising something like this, but hopefully they are wise enough to consider factors that are important to attracting fans for a AOR genre specific event....also i hope they go for a summer or late spring date.

the bands is only half the battle....

Woody

Thing is could they get enough of them to call it a festival. If as someone mentioned earlier, they are increasing the capacity and number of stages at HRH, it would make more sense to just increase the number of bands / styles and throw them all on at the same event. That would surely be more cost effective / less risky than staging seperate events and I think more people would be likely to go if there was one big line up covering a wide range of musical styles.

Gav
