Either way..thats the thing that wrecks it. i can deal with the blurred out pic, and the logo...but the wire/thorns just cheapens it.<br /><br />Do I care about the art? Yes. its about the vibe, the perception, etc. If that weren't the case, then why have so many bands over the decades gone to all the trouble they did with art and logo's? Today, sure..we use the digital system and the art is less important to some, but if I see shit art...then it can taint the vibe.]]></description>

I don't however really bother looking at the cover or the booklet much, usually just store it in a box, so what sense does that make. Couldn't give a care really much what the album art work is like, especially for an artist that I already love, like Danny Vaughn. He could fart into a microphone and I would probably love it. Can't wait.]]></description>

Good or bad cover art doesn't really affect my purchasing decisions, but I prefer to know in advance if a booklet is bare-bones (i.e. without decent artwork/liner notes/lyrics, etc) because if so I might as well just get the download and save a few bob.]]></description>

It`s always a hard thing to do when there is very little budget from the label it may seem. On the other hand, I have seen many many stonkigly great album covers adorning some of the biggest piles of poo album recordings, so I don't think it`s gonna a major concern.<br />These guys know how to play and perform live and once you download and stick in ya iPod or mp3 player how often do u look at artwork?<br /><br />I would be interested to know in these digital days - does the cover art really still play a big part in swaying you on purchasing the album?<br /><br />lol. Now heres me saying that as I sit here working on the new Magnum cover designs. I contradict myself a weee bit I think.<br /><br />Bring back Vinyl so we can have big cover art again I say.]]></description>

Clearly those are taken from the same shot which many bands do these days HOL on their last release to name just one... I find that as equally frustrating<br /><br />Scroll down the newspage though and there's Europe's cover for Bag Of Bones, THAT'S cover art! And an April release for that too is good news still looking forward to both of em ;)]]></description>

The 70's and 80's were full of fantastic front covers. The new Tyketto and Trixter albums I could have done better on photoshop given half a day! I wouldn't of charged a cent either... but yes, eagerly anticipating both these releases, but not expecting either to get close to the glory days. Hopefully I'm wrong...]]></description>
