What an awesome package! I had no idea Venice would open for them. They've always been one of my favorite live bands. Should be a killer night.

Just another case of a band that makes great music, throwing it all away over selfishness and ego. I think that plays the biggest part in every great band's downfall (Journey, Van Halen, etc.).

Styx continues to tour and Dennis has been doing a few shows here and there with a 50-piece orchestra. Dennis has done about 4-5 shows so far with the latest one to be held here in NYC at the Beacon Theater on November 1 (I'll be at this one).

The current Styx/REO Speedwagon tour has apparently been doing so well, that they have listed more dates through the rest of this year. In the next week or so, Styx heads off to Germany and Zurich to tour with Venice (a band from California) opening up for them. (Styx has already toured in Japan last year.)
