Interestingly, his long time record label Warner Bros. have recently remastered and re-released his early back catalogue. This is the same label that have just re-released the early Van Halen catalogue. Anyone see a pattern forming?! For God's sakes Andrew! WB remastered A LOT of product from artists not coming out with new albums. Jeez...this VH thing becomes a bigger and bigger joke all the time. People are so quick to read into or jump on any tidbit, it's insanity. My note was no reflection on Andrew or his site! I was simply stating that this whole VH thing is a train ready to wreck and notes like what Andrew posted don't help the situation any...it helps feed into all the rumor and innuendo, that is already at a high.

I mean, WB has also remastered discs from Grateful Dead and Traffic and many other acts...don't think we'll be seeing new albums from them.

Andrew and I go back and forth alot about all sorts of news, but this one just peeved me a bit. Nothing more nothing less.

And for what it's worth, SFK does stick to melodic rock. My definition is a lot more broad than some...to me AOR is just a form of melodic rock, not THE definition of melodic rock. Someone like The Corrs or Tsar is just as melodic as someone like Bon Jovi or Journey...and more so than Van Halen...no?
