I am glad there are so may NR fans in this board. In my last post Mojo issue is not discussed further. According to the liner note written by Japanese Feeding of Mojo was described as something which hurt Night Ranger's reputation referring to Jack Blades comments" We shouldn't have done this". Should Mojo be neglected as NR work? I want to hear your opinion. That was exactly my point... she DIDN'T know there was a lineup change.

Now, I don't know how many opening gigs they did, but they did that one. That is the situation I was talking about. I did say this was on the REO board and she saw them with REO. When a band plays on the same bill as another band (as an opening band or in some other arrangement) you will have folks there that would not have gone to that band if that band played by themselves, but who have an impression of the band based on the records they have heard on the radio. But how about as a rock album in general. I am a Survivor fan and when I saw Jimi using Survivor name I got a bit mad about it. But when I hear the album as ordinary rock release I liked it very much. Can that be the case for Mojo?

We don't disagree about the album. I did say "I don't think the album Feeding Off The Mojo would have hurt Night Ranger too much." No put down of the album there. But I don't think the absence of Jeff, Jack, and Fitz detracts from "Feeding off the Mojo" as being a great rock album. And I find it sad that a lot of people won't give it a chance because Blades isn't on it. After all, Kelly was a big part of the voice in NR as well...

And I still think the casual listener seeing the name Night Ranger on a marquee will say "Yeah, they did Sister Christian! I loved that song. Let's go see 'em"

And I can't see how the Mojo project HURT NR at all? People didn't like it, they didn't buy it and vice versa. If anything, it kept the NR name alive while Jack was off playing with Ted and Tommy. He might not have had as much to come back to otherwise. And when he did come back, boy, what a difference from the NR we came to know and love. Lots of people liked it. Me? Much rather hear "Seven Wishes" or "Man in Motion" anyday over "Seven." They should've just called it Jack Blades' Night Ranger. Or maybe Night Ranger featuring Jack Blades. LOL!

And sure, I know I'm gonna get flack on this but I'm used to that from the NR discussion list!! LMAO!
