RE: VINNIE VINCENT - INVASION re-issue...

Sorry Joe...but I think you misunderstood the "may" in post and I should have explained better. I have been responding to anti-napster people who say the Napstar is stealing money from artists and labels. What I meant with VV is this. This cd goes for over $100 bucks and always sells on e-bay. So where is the college degree, 3 piece suit, I know music lacky who should have his or her ear to ground and pick up on this. The label could have re-issued this long ago and slaped a $30 price tag on it and it would have sold. So I was being a little sarcastic with the anti napstars. I feel if the CD is available and people are getting the WHOLE thing free, that is wrong. But if you go on there and get some new songs before you blow your money or get yourself a copy of something that is OOP...then shame on the artist/record label not Napstar.

It was on Epic and was a flop sadly. The songs were amazing and extremely well played. Gary Ferguson ( Gary Moore & Glen Hughes among others)
was the drummer. Track it down at all costs )
Oh forgot to add it has not been issued on cd.

RE: VINNIE VINCENT

Word has it that Vinnie Vincent is flat broke.
Most recently he sued Kiss over royalty payments, but lost.

The only thing apart from the 2 albums released so far is a 4 track EP from about 1996 called 'Euphoria'.

His 'Guitars From Hell' album from about 1990 remains unreleased due to Enigma (was it?) folding, and the most recent 'Guitarmageddon' has yet to see a release.
On the Kiss convention tour in Europe '96, Vinnie said that 'Guitarmageddon' was
up for a 1996/97 release.

Also, the Vinnie Vincent 'Archive' box set from about 1997 remains in limbo. On this one, Vinnie even took advance orders, but has yet to ship anything. Apparently 'Archive' consists of live tapes, studio outtakes/demos etc.

If any of these albums ever will be oficially released is anybody's guess,
but personally I think not. Shame really.

Stigma

This CD is one of the reasons why Napstar "may" be taking money from artists. This CD goes for $100 or better on e-bay. As I say "don't cry..release it" As for Mark...All Systems Go is overall a better album and better than any Slaughter album (I told this to Vinnie once). BUT!!!! The guy is a "classic 80's" vocalist and has made some great music. My question is this...with Robert Flieshman with such a great voice...where are you?
