Pretty Maids & Pink Cream 69 soundbytes !

Hi folks,

some new soundbytes on www.rocktracks.de :

- Pretty Maids - Carpe Diem

Pretty Maids' newest 'Carpe Diem' is exactly what a Pretty Maids fan was waiting for. Even if the songs sound like put together without any passion, after each spin they grow together to one big unit more and more. Unfortunately this is another good example for the trophy of 'Wrong Opener' as 'Until It Dies' doesn't represent the rest of the album in any aspect. Track No.2 would have fit way better on this position. The first highlight on this album is the third song 'Wouldn't Miss You', and the earcandy 'Tortured Spirit' can compete with classics like 'Savage Heart' or 'Hell On High Hells' at any time. 'Time Waits For No One' and 'Invisible Chains' sum up the bunch of killers. An album not only Pretty Maids fans should check out.

- Pink Cream 69 - Mixery

Tracklist : One Step Into Paradise 2000, Seas Of Madness (accoustic), King Of My World (japanese bonus), Looks That Kill (Moetley Crue tribute), Shame (live), Break The Silence (live) 'One Step Into Paradise'

The new version of 'One Step Into Paradise' kicks some serious ass !

Coming soon : Gatling Gun, Axxis EP, Contagious EP (why the hell does everybody release an EP at the moment ?)

Take care
Klaus

New Maids???

Are you serious? This isn't some b-side thingy is it? A new studio album, shit eh, I had no idea. Thought they were taking a break after "Anything Worth Doing...".

And just quickly on PC69 - I was a big fan of the Andi Deris era material, no question, and when Electrified came out I was sceptical, but it turned into a monster album for me and I loved it. Sonic Dynamite however is dead average in comparrison. I was listening to it in the car the other day (I've had it for a while) thinking that my thoughts of it being boring when I first got it had gone away. Nope! Really disappointing album, very flat, coupla tracks that grab me, but nothing like Electrified. Bummer hey.

Cheers and beers

Benno
