The Sign at Gods 2000 in Wigan, England

Anyone else a fan of Randy Jackson (Zebra), Mark Mangold (Touch, Drive,She Said, Mystic Healer), Terry Brock (Strangeways, Kansas), Billy Greer (Kansas, Streets), and Bobby Rondinelli (Blue Oyster Cult)?? Anyone going to the Gods 2000 concert on November 4th in Wigan, England? I was wondering if they will allow any video taping of The Sign's concert, as this will probably be the only time these great musicians will perform live together. Since I am in Dallas, TX, it is almost impossible for me to fly to England for the show. I was just wondering if anyone else is planning to attend. I have several contacts and can try to get approvals in advance to video or audio tape The Sign's appearance.

Thanks,
Don Wishon

Still, it's always a great day, and I hope to see you and many others there!

Thanks to everyone for their continued support.

Bruce

Since I have not had the opportunity to attend one of your shows, I was not sure about your recording policy. I, too, hope that some of the material will become available at a future date, especially anything by The Sign. I have been a Randy Jackson and Mark Mangold fan for 20 years and have had the opportunity to hear four of The Sign's remixes back in August (Crossed The Line, Love is Alive, Forever Again, and I'm Alive). I can hardly wait for the release date (October 16th or 23rd??)! Over the past two years I have developed a pretty good friendship with Randy Jackson, helping put together the first Zebra concert in St. Louis (my hometown) in nearly 15 years earlier this year and booking two Randy Jackson solo acoustic shows here in Dallas the last two years.

I have not had the chance to listen to Two Fires, though I am a fan of Kevin Chalfant, going back to his days with 707 and The Storm. I read that they put on a tremendous show at last year's Gods concert and everyone is excited to have them come back this year.

I am a regular on Now & Then's website, consistently reading updates, and wish you the best with the Gods 2000 show!

Thanks again and let me know if you have any further information about The Sign's release of "Signs of Life".

Regards,
Don Wishon
dwishon@gt.com
Dallas, TX

We are fans ourselves, and we always think it helps the scene, rather than hinder it, to allow such recordings. We will be professionally recording the show however, so hopefully some of the material will make it's way onto the market as legitimate releases.

Can you imagine the theTwo Fires show? Kevin Calfant with Kelly Keagy on drums/vocals and Jim Peterik on keyboards/vocals!! Oh my God !! :)

Take care.

Bruce Mee
(Now & Then Productions)
