Much more upbeat and poppy as compared to their darker past.

Think of the new CD as all their hits (like Father Of Mine or Santa Monica) combined into one.

AM Radio and Brown Eyed Girl are phenomenal.

Have you listened to the last cd by these guys? It has 5 or 6 excellent songs, a few of my favorite songs of the year actually, on it. I do not own any of their old cds so I don't know how it compares but I was told this one is different in style. That still may not be enough songs for you to buy it but you may want to give it a listen. Any other opinions on this cd out there???

It made me realise that the beauty of the music I'm into is that I can buy an album on the strength of one song and be assured of a good album. I left the pop/schlock/rap/crap to the rest of the population from then on.
