Steve Perry & The Lethal Weapon Movies

Call me stupid but I've always been curious about this, if you check the credits for the Lethal Weapon movies there is a guy called STEVE PERRY who acted as 'EXECUTIVE PRODUCER'. I've often wondered if this is the same Steve Perry we all know and love???
Also regarding Journey, what's the betting that once Perry has heard how bollocks the new Journey album is, he will come back next summer with a full on rock album? MMMM wouldn't that be nice!!!
cheers

I'm LOL!!

I would really like to see Mr Perry come back with a vengeance...and show those blokes(Journey...neal Schon especially) that they are nothing without him!

As for Arrival, it's probably not fair to judge it right now as we have only heard demo mp3's...but what I always say is, "a good song is a good song...no matter what the production"...same goes for a bad song...if it's a bad song it doesnt matter how good the production is

By the way, speaking of production...who really cares if the production is bad as long as the songs are good! That's what I like about a lot of these independent artists...their songs are awesome! Whoever wants to avoid them because of the production is really missing out on some great artists

Cheers

Vince

Nicky wrote:
-------------------------------
Call me stupid but I've always been curious about this, if you check the credits for the Lethal Weapon movies there is a guy called STEVE PERRY who acted as 'EXECUTIVE PRODUCER'.
RE: Steve Perry & The Lethal Weapon Movies

Arrival (promo 7/21/00) has been spinning in my CD player almost non-stop since I got it two weeks ago or so. I must say that IMHO, the album is one of the most complete Journey albums ever musically. The opening track "Higher Place" gives me goosebums all the time when they hit the chorus :) This one ought to appear on the charts next spring!

I miss Perry's voice too, but think that Augeri does an awesome job replacing him.

For those of you that don't think Journey is Journey w/o Perry, remember that he wasn't originally in the band. My hope is that you one day can come to love this album as much as I already do.

Btw, has anyone heard the Japanese bonus track "To Be Alive Again" yet? If so, can you post a brief review/comparison to the rest of the songs?

Thanks!

EchoMan

RE: Nah....

Nicky
What the hell is wrong with you. How can you say the Journey album is bollocks and give some of the home made shite 8+ reviews on the Strutter site. Some
of those albums you rave over are fucking awful poorly produced ameturish shite
. Also I find it very difficult to take your reviews seriously when you very rarely
mark anything below seven out of ten. Also you rave about so many no hopers
every couple days it's impossible to listen to them all enough times to constructively review them. C'mon Nicky how many times do you play these albums from start to finish before you slap on the 9.5 quality rating?
I think other people will agree with me on this when I say you need to have your
ears checked.
