As for the second disc, the idea of a 2 CD set has also been part of nearly every Van Halen rumor that has circulated. The second disc has been rumored to contain anything from the 1977 demos, to 78-84 live material, to the aborted album with Cherone to (the most ridiculous yet) a newly recorded Van Hagar album, that story being part of the rumor that Dave and Sammy would both be on the tour and that the 2 CD set would be an album worth of new material from each lineup.

They are ALL just rumors. Van Halen and Warner Bros will not need any gimmicks to sell this album. The last time THIS band made an entire album, it sold 10 million copies. I think it will do just fine.

But if they did put a free bonus disc of live Van Halen or demos in with the album, you wouldn't hear me complain either ;)]]> F.O.R.D.
