Tommy Shaw is wrong

After reading the interview with Dennis DeYoung, I don't see how anyone can not feel sooo sorry for the hell that Tommy Shaw has put Dennis DeYoung through.

I am in the process of selling off any Tommy Shaw and JY solo album that I own - problem is I doubt there will be too many takers.

These guys have stolen a man's lifetime work from him and then have the audacity to lie about it - all for the almighty dollar.

It really is a shame on how low those two individuals will go to kick someone while they are down. The man got sick and these two decided to take advantage of it. How low can you get?

The only solice I have is knowing that this version of STYX will fail.

After all, he did in this very interview state that he did not want to tour with Styx in 1997 because he would rather have worked on Hunchback. Maybe you should try to find solice in Dennis DeYoung being able to do his own shows for a while, and run them any way he wants to, in any venues he likes.

In other words, maybe you should try to find solice in the positive things that can come of this, instead of having it depend on hurting someone else.

Just a thought.

Vicki

Wrong or right, it's not just Tommy.

Tommy Shaw is not getting up on stage playing by himself... he is not running the lights or the sound system, he is not setting up the tour dates, he is not doing the promotion for the shows. So, if he's wrong, he's not along.

Personally, I think there are two sides to every story, and both sides have made mistakes.

http://users.solve.net/~kozisek/tommy/soundoff.htm

Some Styx fans got mad at Dennis De Young's comment and brah brah...

I just hope A is right B is wrong debate will end on this board soon.

Similar things happened between Jimi Jamison and Frankie Sullivan of Survivor it is not just the matter of they themselves, it's sad to see the fans are divided into two parties and abusing each sides.

Regards

Susumu

Trust me, JY and CHUCK are also very intelligent men who can make their own decisions and weren't "brainwashed" by Tommy. The fact that DENNIS can't CONTROL them anymore might have something to do with it.

Styx may be about the "music" but the man behind that music is Dennis and always will be Dennis. Tommy Shaw couldn't do it as a solo artist or with the Damn Yankees, so he takes over control when Dennis was sick.
