Taxiride

Taxiride is the name of pop rock group now popular in Australia. Anywhere You Go got much of airplay in Japan. That single reminds me of ELO's Calling America
and a cool track. Any MHR fans ever heard their whole album?

Thanks

RE: Taxiride

Taxiride is cool AOR. Surely some great vocals. I like the guitarwork as well. The acoustic sound is great . "Get Set" was released in the USA, and got some MTV airplay (Big deal). But it is good to see some quality work played in the mainstream these days. It only makes for a better chance that more melodic stykle rock and roll will be popular (mainstream) once again. Taxiride reminds me a lot of a lot of the Christian bands that are out these days, most of whom incorporate an AOR feel to their music, like DC Talk, the Newsboys, Steven Curtis Chapmans latest, and of course, John Elefante.
