But thought I'd give it a mention maybe. This is way off the map as far as my tastes go as well but the new single from the band In Flames absolutely rocks!!! Its called "Bullet Ride", kind've a cross between thrash and black metal but there's something about it that has really got me. They're playing it at Hardradio.com a fair bit at the moment. Another band I never thought I'd be interested in but have blown me away, Sinergy. They sound fantastic as well, but again, they step off the heavier scale of this board (I think, can't be too sure). And who else, oh yeah, Mob Rules, they've got something about them that I rate highly. Bit of a head banger at heart me thinks ;-). Awesomely heavy but they now have THREE vocalists. One CHILI PEPPERS type guy, one who sounds like JON BON JOVI and one death metal type dude!
And you know what...it works!! Add the LEATHERWOLF type guitar melodies and you've got one dynamite combination.
