Cracking smiles

That'd be me. I finally got my copy of "Crack a Smile..." and I love it! I've never been a poison fan, the two or three radio friendly songs that went big in the late 80's were good fun but lacked the punch that I was into at the time, hence every subsequent Poison release went unnoticed by my good self. But thanks to Dogga who taped me a copy of the bootleg (cheers marrow!), I got to hear this album a while ago and have been loving it ever since. Little did I know that the final release would contain four or five other tracks that weren't on the bootleg, I'm having a ball with it. The unfinished demo of the track "Crack a Smile" is a let down and the MTV stuff never appealed to me either, but the album plus outtakes has my cd player overheating on repeat. Fantastic. Just thought I'd rant.

Cheers and beers

The copy i bought then is still the only one if´ve ever seen of it in a store.

Well its hard to describe the sound of the album to me, you cant compare it to C A S. Its just a damn good bluesy and heavy hardrock album. I really cant compare it to something, Maybe a really really heavy Cinderella/poison album without the glam-part.
-------------------------
Am I allowed to ask that question? lol...

Yeah of course you are, maybe you´ll drop me a mail to the adresse above and we´ll see , i shouldnt be a problem.

Alex

I'm told its a great album also. Again, I'm not much of a Poison fan but CAS has hit the spot, are they comparable? Is it a deleted item? Can we maybe do a CDR swap? Am I allowed to ask that question? lol...

Cheers and beers

Benno

In fact, in my opinion, this might be their best release ever!! I have to admit, after the disappointing "Native Tongue" (although I'm a big Ritchie Kotzen fan!), I wasn't expecting much. Man, was I wrong! This album rocks!

Keep ranting! (& rocking!)

Dan
