That'd be me. I finally got my copy of "Crack a Smile..." and I love it! I've never been a poison fan, the two or three radio friendly songs that went big in the late 80's were good fun but lacked the punch that I was into at the time, hence every subsequent Poison release went unnoticed by my good self. But thanks to Dogga who taped me a copy of the bootleg (cheers marrow!), I got to hear this album a while ago and have been loving it ever since. Little did I know that the final release would contain four or five other tracks that weren't on the bootleg, I'm having a ball with it. The unfinished demo of the track "Crack a Smile" is a let down and the MTV stuff never appealed to me either, but the album plus outtakes has my cd player overheating on repeat. Fantastic. Just thought I'd rant. Actually I dont know if the album is out of print or not. The copy i bought then is still the only one if´ve ever seen of it in a store.

Well its hard to describe the sound of the album to me, you cant compare it to C A S. Its just a damn good bluesy and heavy hardrock album. I really cant compare it to something, Maybe a really really heavy Cinderella/poison album without the glam-part.
