VH1

It was interesting to read Andrew's comments about VH1. But VH1 stopped being about rock music a long time ago here in the USA. Now they are more like MTV than ever. They hardly ever play music. It is all game shows, behind the music specials and movies. And if they do play videos, it is only for an hour, or late at night. I wish that AT&T had kept the Canadian music channel on here (Much Music?), they played videos all of the time, including rock!

At least radio here in the St.Louis area is playing more 80s rock music on the classic rock stations, but the one outlet that I have found that is playing new music is the DMX album rock station on my digital cable. I have heard quite a mix of songs from old to new artists on there, with no commercials.

I think they woke KSHE up when listeners started defecting because 97 FM was playing 80s rock instead of the same ol' Led Zeppeling/Stones/Grateful Dead tunes and other 60/70s songs that have been played over and over.
