That is an awesome sounding band.....can you imagine the vocal harmonies...although I think Richie is losing it as a player. I would put in Dann Huff (guitar) and Harry Hess (keys).

Sorry - I thought we were discussing musical ability/suitability.

It is important, in my opinion, to have complementary styles in a two-guitar band.
And while Vinny may not be your typical widdly guitarist, he certainly plays with amazing feel and emotion - and that's what AOR should be about.

Guitar/Vocals: Richie Sambora
Guitar/Backing Vocals: Jeff Watson
Drums/Vocals: Kelly Keagy
Bass/Vocals: Kip Winger
Keyboards/Backing Vocals: Jonathan Cain

Richie, Kelly, and Kip would all share lead-vocals duty (can never have too many vocalists!), Jonathan would offer his smooth keyboard sound, and Jeff would round out the guitar section with his 8-finger tapping, of course. ;-)

David Coverdale-vocals
Brad Gillis-guitar,vocals
Adrian Vandenberg-guitar
Kip Winger-bass,vocals
Eric Carr (rip) -drums,vocals
Alan Fitzgerald-keyboards

In case David Coverdale has throat problems I`d have Joey Tempest substitute.
If I`m not allowed to a have a dead guy play drums I`d probably have Tommy Aldridge or Eric Singer substitute. In case one of the guitar players hurts their wrists or falls into a pit I`d give John Norum a call to temporarily fill in. Finally if Alan Fitzgerald doesn`t want to perform on stage I`ll call on Steve Isham from Autograph to fulfill keyboard obligations.
