Hi. Does anyone know if there ever has been a 'First Blood' soundtrack album. I have never seen one. As far as I can remember, both Rambo II and Rambo 3 both has got soundtrack albums. At the texts at the end, the only song listed is 'It's A Long Road' Dan Hill's 'It's A Long Road' at the tail end of First Blood is a magnificent song. Does anyone know if it's on any Dan Hill album as well? The soundtrack of FIRST BLOOD exists and is printed thru COLOSSEUM SCHALLPLATEN.
Sadly for you DAN's song is the only one sung.
The composer is the same of the score, I mentioned the genius Jerry Goldsmith (Planet of the apes, Patton, Gremlins, Small soldiers, Chinatown, LA Confidential, The Omen, and a very very long list).

I have it and could do a cdr for you next month if you want.

Remeber the rest of the soundtrack is only score tracks ! (Orchestral)

As far as I'm a soundtrack buff I got the FIRST BLOOD original soundtrack.
The author of the score tracks (orchestral) and of Dan Hill's song is Jerry Goldsmith, one of the all time great film composers.

The disc is printed by COLOSSEUM SCHALPLATTEN and only contains this song among the other score tracks.
It's a bit hard to find.
