While cancer is always a serious matter, the prognosis looks good from what little facts have been released to the public. Apparently, Eddie had a small tumor on his tongue which has been removed. He's scheduled for 12 weeks of outpatient treatments, which I'm guessing would involve radiation. While this is no picnic by any means, it could have been much worse.

Pray for Eddie and his family. While I have no doubt he will beat this thing, it never hurts to have some help.
