Bar 7 / Tesla

Has anyone had a chance to listen to the entire new Bar 7 release with Jeff Keith and Tommy Skeoch of Tesla fame? I have listened to the tracks posted on their site (www.bar7.com) and must admit they sound great and pretty much like good old Tesla. The only concern I have is that the site refers to those songs as being in the vein of Tesla while the others "expand the group's audience". If that means what I think it means, I'm not sure I'm interested. Feedback would be greatly appreciated before I spend my hard earned cash on this release.

RE: Armored Saint

I saw Saint when they came through and they slayed completely! Bush sounds sooo much better with the Saint than with Anthrax for starters, the energy was incredible, and the setlist was great. They played songs from every album including 'Can U Deliver', 'Aftermath' (godly!), 'Tribal Dance', 'Reign Of Fire', 'Chemical Euphoria', 'Madhouse', 'Nervous Man', 'Long Before I Die', plus newbies like 'After Me, The Flood', 'Creepy Feelings', and 'Tension'. T'was the best night of heavy metal in many, many moons. They just don't make them like that anymore. Have fun at the show!

When they were going under the name "Sofa King," I heard that they were very opposed to doing the old Tesla tunes, but now they're being billed as "Bar 7 (Tesla) performing all of the Tesla hits." Has anyone seen their show yet?

And on a different note... Has anyone seen any Armored Saint shows since they reunited? They're playing my area tomorrow night.

Thanks,
Rocker Chic
