While the cyber summit was a success, there have always been this handful of asswipes who try to stir up shit with me, and have done so ever since the VH reunion scam in 1996. I might be reading this wrong, but isn't this an open invitation (to your website regulars) for the beginnings of another flame war on this board? If you're trying to avoid a repeat of February's chaos on this board, then why start up with the angry posts here? The post you had on your board almost seemed like a "call to arms" to the so-called FORD Gang ("Go take 'em out"), but I thought the whole point was to keep things in check (especially after the summit)? I thought it was very cool on your part to offer to take the bullshit to your board, but vulgar posts have already been deleted on this board, due to the initial shots of a flame war. Please, please, please correct me if I misread this.

I hate to think that a topic like this can cause as many problems as it has, but I'm afraid that certain statements can be misconstrued, thereby getting out of hand. More importantly, I thought a lot of us had previously learned that if you ignore the bullshit, the bullshit will go away. As far as your reports on Van Halen, my suggestion would be to not even bring Covercheezeball's name into the story in the future. I have determined exactly where most of the bullshit info (including the original Covercheeze story) is originating from. You aren't the only one who was duped by the Danniels bullshit mill. Just take a look at the Slawterhouse board today for another sad story of a guy who believed the line they fed him.

If Van Halen is at all going to tour this summer, then an announcement will have to come by the end of this month. I honestly believe it's close. The suppressed Ray Luzier (ex DLR Band drummer) interview at the DLR Army site is proof that they're going out of their way to keep the story silent.

But I do have MORE and great info, that you could consider far more newsworthy.
But I am not about to print anything without conclusive proof and backing from multiple sources. Remember, many of LA's best musicians come thru this site.

When this rumored Press Release date of Monday 15- 5 comes and goes without an announcement, maybe you will believe that I do have further info of value.
