Another bullshit posting from some stupid-ass Moron (yeah, and my grandmother works for Wawazat records).

The only band that would play an outdoor venue in the middle of Fall, where the temperature would be around 50 degrees could only be someone as shitty as Pearl Jam. Van Halen will probably be playing mostly indoor arenas, with the exception of the summer months.

I own every Van Hagar CD as well, but how can you say they were a better band than Van Halen? What makes the MUSIC on a Van Halen/Van Hagar album?

When David Lee Roth was kicking his ass! The 2 of them drove each other to greatness, and Mikey and Alex followed. They did that for 6 classic albums, and they did it again in 1996. And they're doing it again right now!

Sammy's a great singer and (sometimes) songwriter as well, but he let Eddie get lazy and put out too many ballads. Now I know this board is full of people who like the ballad stuff, and Van Hagar's were certainly better than those of the typical hair band. But for the "artists formerly known as Van Halen", it was a big step down.

As for the "chubby bald" shit, give me a break. Sammy's a lot chubbier than Dave. And so Dave's lost some hair. How many 45 year old men haven't?

In either case I'd be happy to have the energy that both of them have when I get to 45 and 53.

I have all of the Van Halen cd's and I hardly listen to the Deavid era,some very cool
songs of that time but just don't stand close to the Sammy era.The Gary era,well wasn't what I thought it would be,but it was good in its own little way.I think they should have tried one more with Gary Cherone.

Mike, tell your brother (the parking lot attendant at Warner Bros) to lay off the hooch. Pearl Jam is playing the Palace of Auburn Hills October 7, 2000 (officially from Palace PR dept 248-377-0100). Palace PR has heard nothing of a Van Halen date for either The Palace or Pine Knob Music Theater.
