I think Pantera rules, but you're right...they're not melodic.

However, because they are not melodic does not mean that they automatically 'suck' as you say...I think I'm not the only one who frequents this board who knows how Pantera sounded and looked before they turned thrash. There are very few melodic songs that you think are great that this band COULDN'T play if they so desired. So I think 'suck' is kind of a harsh term.
