Uriah Heep

I heard about this artist while someone mentioning Survivor cover songs. There are some votes for Band Ranking in Burrn Fan site so they must be famous.

Tell me about this artist.

Thanks

The history of hard rock...

Uriah Heep is a great band, and it's the most important hard rock band after Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin. They have produced plenty of albums (more than 20) so I really advise you to buy some of them, the first ones (from 1970-1975) are pure hard rock, the following ones are more melodic, near AOR (especially "Abominog" and another one produced in 1985 which name I don't remember right now)

RE: Uriah Heep

Classic band Susumu. Started way back in 1970s and are quite melodic. Melodic vocals, strong keyboard sound. Mick Box the guitarist is very good. Still going strong and touring occassionaly. Last album Sonic Origami about two years back was classic and very mature. My personal favourite album "Abominog" from 1982.Always respected this band but one of my best mates who really loves them has expanded my appreciation even more. Do yourself a favour Susumu - get some Uriah Heep on cd. CHEERS KAOS FAN.
