RE: Z 2000

Wow! That is some line up of gigs.
What size venues will these bands be playing? I ask because the UK music industry magazines just do not report that these type of bands exist at all anymore. It's difficult to get a real handle on just how popular melodic rock is in the US and the UK industry doesn't like admitting that its biggest selling bands in the last 12 months over there have been Def Leppard and Bush.
I think there's a fear that the UK will follow the US and they don't want that to happen.

RE: Z 2000

Fred,

Thanks so much for that great review. I have been drooling over this show (USA) since I heard about it, now I can't wait to buy my tickets! I also have plans to see Vaughn again next Thursday, so that should help satisfy my hunger for great melodic rock fast. Hearing about these Z Shows has me yearning what you guys have been fortunate enough to experience. October is my turn, buddy! :-P

What a great year this is going to be for me! First, Vaughn, then Def Leppard, then a couple of Styx shows, then Night Ranger and Pat Benatar, and (hopefully!) Journey before the end of the year.

Whew! But I can handle it. Give me more.... ;-)

Rocker Chic
