JUDAS PRIEST'S ORIGINAL COLUMBIA U.S. ALBUM CATALOGUE RESTORATION CONCLUDES: The last four Judas Priest re-issues are due for release March 19. The band's Sony re-issues now feature 12 expanded editions containing previously unreleased studio and live bonus tracks, original artwork, lyrics, vintage photography, new liner notes by the band, and digital remastering by Jon Astley. Due on the 19th are the albums Turbo, Priest Live!, Ram It Down and Painkiller. Bonus features on Turbo are: All Fired Up (previously unreleased studio track) . Locked In (previously unreleased live version). Priest Live! features: Screaming For Vengeance . Rock Hard, Ride Free . Hell Bent For Leather (all previously unreleased live versions) Ram It Down features: Night Comes Down . Bloodstone Bonus tracks (both previously unreleased live versions) Finally, Painkiller features: Living Bad Dreams (previously unreleased studio track) . Leather Rebel (previously unreleased live version).

JK NORTHRUP AND JOHNNY EDWARDS CONTINUE WORK ON NEW RELEASE: Guitarist Jeff Northrup is working hard with singer Johnny Edwards on new material for their second CD together. First signs of these new sessions suggest a monster release. EX-RED RIDER JEFF JONES CONTINUES SOLO SUCCESS: Hot on the heels of a successful 12 week run on forty AC/CHR/CAR radio stations with his second single, I'll Be There, from his debut album Positive; bassist/vocalist Jeff Jones - formerly of Red Rider and The Infidels - takes the stage November 22nd at Healey's Bar in Toronto. Jones's only Toronto appearance since July will mark his first headlining show in the area with his band featuring fellow Red Rider member Ken Greer (who also produced the album). Jones is currently riding the crest of major airplay in Western Canada and is warming up in Toronto for a planned jaunt out west in late January 2002. By this time Jones's third single from Positive -- Here Today, Gone Tomorrow will hit the airwaves. Jones has been busy appearing in the latest Jackie Chan film (which also features a music legend James Brown) and making appearances on Canadian television including Canada AM, Day-time, and Off The Record. Expect to hear Jones crooning the Xmas classic Silent Night come this December with a single being sent to AC/CHR/CAR within the next 7 days. The song will be featured on the Bullseye Records Of Canada, Inc. Yuletide compilation called - Takin' Care Of Christmas - which also includes appearances by Randy Bachman, Tom Hooper (Grapes Of Wrath), Greg Godovitz & The Carpet Frogs, Bob Segarini, The Kings, Moving Targetz, Maureen Leeson, John Boswell, Dave Rave & Lauren Agnelli, and Joel-Steven. JOAN JETT SIGNS NEW DEAL WITH BMG: Press Release: Los Angeles, January 28, 2002: Scott Francis, President of BMG Songs, has announced the signing of multi-platinum rocker Joan Jett to a long-term, worldwide administrative agreement. The deal includes Jett's catalogue of hit songs from her years with the Blackhearts, her successful solo career and future releases. Under the deal, BMG Songs will administer Jett's catalogue, which includes songs written by both Jett and her producer/co-writer Kenny Laguna, and has non-exclusive rights to license masters for synchronization.
