Reviews:
After making an appearance at the very first Gods Festival, some 9 years earlier, Shotgun Symphony took to the stage for their farewell gig shortly after 2pm.
Pennington's by this stage was filling nicely and the front of house dance floor was filled.
Shotgun have built a strong following through several albums and several previous appearances at earlier Gods Festivals.
This was their last and the full set will be released on CD and DVD as well as being a part of the Gods compilation set. The guys came prepared for a killer show and delivered.

This was the first 'event' of the day so to speak. Armed with a solid Best Of set list, the band sounded a million bucks from the first note and had the crowd eating out of the palm of their hands.
Frontman Tracy White doesn't run around the stage as some do, but he has a stage presence that is built from a career performing. His delivery of the songs came with passion and with pleasure.
The rest of the guys did their thing also – tight, polished and in tune with each other.
Even 'up the back', keyboardist Charlie Calv and drummer John Hummel made their presence known, smiling and nodding their way through the show.

As I said, the crowd lapped it up. Lots of hands in the air for the finale of the set and when done, there was a very emotional bow to the crowd that had every one cheering and even a few teary eyes – not least the guys themselves.
They jokingly said the next day they have a name picked out for the next album – just in case – but for now, it was the end of an era. And a more fitting end would not have been possible. Bring on the DVD!
