FILMING / RECORDING
-------------------
The Gods 2002 is being filmed and recorded. All sets and all bands are being recorded and filmed. A compilation of the whole event will be put together for special DVD / Video release later in the year.
Individual DVDs are expected to be released by TEN, HAREM SCAREM, HARDLINE, JEFF SCOTT SOTO and SHOTGUN SYMPHONY.
All this is obviously dependent on the quality of the performances and the recordings. More details and specifications will follow in due course.
CAMERAS
-------
We aren't allowing audio recording devices / camcorders because of the bootleg problem that occured a couple of years ago, but standard stills cameras are fine.
MERCHANDISE
-----------
There will be GODS 2002, TEN and HAREM SCAREM merchandise available. We will be repeating the very popular girl's fitted t-shirts and both sexes baseball shirts.
As usual current and back catalogue CDs will also be available. We will also have stock of the new titles by Honeymoon Suite, Andre Anderson and Jim Peterik which aren't officially released until June 17th!
CAR PARKING
-----------
There is a car park for 300 cars right next to the venue. Pennington's have said that they will have a security person checking the car park regularly so it should be a fairly safe place to park.
VENUE PASS-OUTS
---------------
A pass out system will be in place so you can leave the venue during the day.
FOOD
----
There is a food bar in Pennington's which will be open most of the day. You may also leave the venue to find other eating establishments.
DRINK
-----
Beer prices at Pennington's will be pretty much the same as at Maximes, i.e. around £2.10 a pint and there will even be some special offers on bottled beer / alcopops for £1 a bottle hopefully.
Charity Collection
------------------
Anyone on the guest list will be asked to make a donation to the charity and there will also be a raffle held on the day, which everyone attending The Gods is able to enter. Tickets are 50p each or 5 for £2.
All money goes to the Radcliffe on Trent RSPCA Shelter which houses up to 320 animals at any one time, whilst trying to find them new homes.
Shelter spokeswoman, Jo Hoaksey has this to say, "Dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, hamsters, chickens, you name it, we have it!!!. Many are abandoned or cruelty cases and some are just unwanted pets. It costs us approx £1000 per day to run the shelter and we receive no funding from either RSPCA national headquarters or the government as we are a Trust run home."
Prizes include tickets to the next Gods festival, the chance to appear in the compilation DVD of The Gods 2002 as you receive your prize on stage, a copy of the said DVD upon release, a Gods 2002 t-shirt, signed Gilby Clarke and Alice Cooper goodies, a selection of CD's, a bottle of champagne and a one year UK subscription to Powerplay.
ENGLAND v SWEDEN
----------------
The England / Sweden game will be shown in Pennington's 2, the venue for the Saturday night pre GODS party. This room has TV's all around the place and can hold around 300 people, so anyone wanting to see the game can watch it in a great atmosphere and then walk through into the main room to see Pulse kicking off The Gods!
DRESS CODE
----------
There is no dress code as such. This is a rock concert, so jeans, trainers, t-shirts etc are perfectly acceptable.
