Pennington's 2 / Pre-Show Party
Pennington's 2 hosted a special Pre-Show party on the Saturday night. The smaller bar room like venue packed in a crowd of around 300 to se UK band Deadline and Shotgun Symphony both put in 1 hour sets to an enthusiastic crowd.
The place was packed and I met a bunch of site regulars - hello folks!! But it was hard to get a word in over the ear splitting sound!
Harem Scarem, Gary Hughes and others ventured in to witness the set, while outside the venue, Jeff Scott Soto and band and Honeymoon Suite hammed it up with fans and posed for photo's.
All in all, a very cool evening and a good introduction to the weekend.
