Praying Mantis
I have never really bothered with Praying Mantis, they are one band that have never had a large exposure in Australia and it was only through their new album that I really gave them any credit.
It's a great album, no doubt and I have enjoyed listening to it.
But you know what, their performance here just seemed flat. It was OK, but they did have a few problems with sound and vocalist Tony O'Hara's voice didn't hold up as well as could be expected. Either way, I will stick to the album in the future.
The problem was with so many bands on in one day, there was intense competition for the fans respect. Praying Mantis may have impressed the established fans, but didn't win any new ones.
