Lost Weekend had the unenviable task of kicking things off and impressing the early crowd and those that were wandering in as the guys played.
But like I reported in the
Travel Diary, the crowd was already a good size and welcomed the guys with enthusiasm.
I wasn't totally blown away by the album, but was more impressed by their live show.
The guys played the best part of their album and I think impressed the crowd also. The songs had a little more life in them live and I for one would like to see them play again.
For a new band they came across well on stage.
The only problem was a slight power failure mid set, but the guys took it in their stride, disappeared from stage and re-appeared 15 minutes later to pick up where they left off and finish the set. Brave move, but it went down pretty well.
