HARD SPIRIT
HARD SPIRIT was born in 2002. It was a big bet from the outset. The path was set looking for a perfect mix of 80s stadium rock and the modern rock that can be currently listened to.
In 2003 their first demo CD was released. It was only 8 tracks but it managed to sell more than 800 copies around Spain. After this achievement the band, more confident than ever, started to write a full album.
During this time, they win seven music contests, give a great show in the “Plaza de Toros de Gijón” for over 10,000 people with huge success (encore included) together with Spanish bands in the sales charts such as PEREZA and M-CLAN, share stage with big rock bands such as JADED HEART, SOUL DOCTOR, MAD MAX or BOB CATLEY, and play over 40 shows in every corner of the country.
Once the writing was finished at the beginning of 2006, the band finally find a producer, DANI G., who had previously worked with Ingo Cjakovski (Rage), Achim Köhler (Primal Fear, Sinner), Dennis Ward (Pink Cream 69, Sunstorm), Lars Ratz … He was the ideal candidate. He knew how to capture the band’s essence from the start.
Now the album “WALK THE WILD” is completed and the first reviews have been awsome, even stating that this is one of the best rock albums made in Spain.
In June 2007, the band conquered the Villa de Bilbao, without a doubt the most prestigious music contest in Spain and one of the most important in Europe with over €32,000 in prizes and over 2,000 candidate bands to win even recording sessions in the US.
The Asturian band won the “GRAB” awards, French clotheswear brand that will provide their catalogue for a full year. Toni Amboaje raised as the best singer in the contest and Gansan did the same as the best guitarist.
HARD SPIRIT signs a contract to launch the album at the end of September 2007 with TRIPLE A-METAL record label of Alberto Ardines (Warcry) and it will be distributed in Spain and Europe through Avispa.
HARD SPIRIT is ready to show its energetic and fantastic performance live and to write their own episode in the history of rock.
