Evolution Eden
Mix the screaming guitars and big vocals of Def Leppard with the story telling of Bon Jovi. Toss in the take no prisoners attitude of Nickelback and the pop sensibilities of the Goo Goo Dolls and this gives you an idea of the excitement around the sound of Evolution Eden.
Winners of KGO’s 2005 “Best Music You’ve Never Heard” contest and nominated for the Inland Empire Music Awards “Best Out of Area Band”, Evolution Eden’s debut CD Story Road sweeps the listener through the sonic spectrum of emotions. From the fist pumping sounds of “Puppet on a String” to the delicate textures of “Ordinary Girl”. Soulful power ballad “Love Goes Something Like This” and audience favorite “Summer Nights” clearly illustrate the bands lyrical command and musical capabilities. Finally, the award winning bombastic hit “Walls of Wonderland” leave no doubt that Evolution Eden is a band to watch!
Started as a lunchtime diversion by Brandon Owen and Mike “Pap” Pappas, the two quickly and easily developed more than 25 songs. It was obvious that the two had chemistry. At the urging of friends and family, the repertoire was painfully consolidated down to 14 songs for inclusion on a debut CD, "Story Road."
When it came time to put a band together Brandon and Mike made a tedious search in the local scene and beyond and found veteran bass player Andy Hewett and drummer Jim Bove, which concreted Evolution Eden’s rock solid line-up.
Evolution Eden’s singles “Walls of Wonderland”, Puppet On A String” and “Summer Nights” are currently garnering attention throughout Europe, Australia and the U.S. Evolution Eden is playing shows all over Northern California.
