DANGEROUS ENEMY FORUM

‘STONE COLD BLOODED’ is taken from the forthcoming ‘DANGEROUS ENEMY FORUM’ E.P. ‘SET IN STONE’.

This is the follow up to the self-financed album ‘DARK CORRIDORS’ which was released to positive press in 2003

…I am really impressed, well done keep up the work / Phil Winning [Independant Reviewer - Feb 2004]

....Dangerous Enemy Forum is the project put together by two very regular looking Joe Bloggs......Surprisingly, their sound is a combination of riffs straight out of the Ozzy/Ratt back catalogue combined with Blackie Lawless style vocals....Okay it feels a bit demo - ish at times, but there are some good grooves going on here. Given a bit of extra cash and some more studio polish these tracks could be moulded into something special. It may come across as a back - handed compliment but it’s fair to say that “Dark Corridors” is an excellent release for a self - financed, UK based debut..... / Paul McCanny. “Powerplay Magazine - Sept 2003”

....Hi!!! I´m writing from a Swedish magazine called just the "Magazine".I will spread this review in Swedish music press though I write for several other magazines to. I´m very interested in the music you do sounds damn good... / .Johnny Forslund, Sweden. “Magazine” - June 2003

...This is Geoff Melton with the webzine The Music Korner. I just came across some stuff on you and liked what I saw....I can include a review in The Music Korner, as well as in the other webzines I contribute to....Other webzines I contribute to include CornZine, AltarNative and In Music We Trust, the last of which gets 20,000+ hits a month, and I'm also a contributor to the San Diego based newsprint magazine Reviewer. / Geoff Melton “The Music Korner” Webzine, Charleston WV - June 2003

‘SET IN STONE’ sees the band further explore their allegiance to an ‘OZZY meets AC/DC’ style and sound – In other words Hard Rocking!!

So who or what is ‘DANGEROUS ENEMY FORUM’? – The band is fronted by Shaun Stein (Vocals) & Ian Cormack-Hicks (Guitars) both formerly of ‘MAD AXE’ who released several albums during the late 80’s and early 90’s culminating in their then highest profile work ‘JUNK SHOP’ a 15-track cd praised for it’s ‘true to roots’ vibe that incorporates sounds akin to OZZY, AC/DC, PRIEST and even WASP!!!!

2007 should be a busy year for the band as they will also release an E.P. titled ‘HIGH SCREAM HEAD’ which hints more toward a ‘BLACK LABEL SOCIETY’ influence – and it doesn’t stop there!! Two further ‘work in progress’ projects are penned for release with initial signs suggesting another ‘rootsy’ feel incorporating early RATT / SABBATH (‘Ratt Sabbath’ now there’s a name for a band!!!!)
