For Wim Roelants it's a little step - but it's a big step for BADHOVEN
In a few days the exceptionally gifted guitar hero WIM ROELANTS from Tennerife will join BADHOVEN at their first live shows! The first gig in this brand-new line-up will be at the legendary PLANET in Vienna on April, 16th 2008 to support the headliner - the hardrock legend - Graham Bonnet.

BADHOVEN - THE HISTORY
BADHOVEN, Austria's No.1 Melodic Hardrock band, was founded in July 2001 while recording their first album. It was October, 19th when the band released this album named “BEHIND THE MASQUERADE”. All over Europe magazines wrote great reviews. These reviews were followed by radio interviews. BADHOVEN was played on some private radio stations in Austria, Germany and Nothern Italy. In 2002 the compilation CD called "Munich Hardest Hits Vol.1" was released by the same named radiostation in Munich/Germany including the strong song “Wasted Time”. Concerts in Austria and Italy were followed by great live-reviews showing that BADHOVEN is an excellent live-act, too.
2003 was the year of South America: On ROCKUM magazine the band was No.1 in the magazine charts for several weeks! Even bands like SKID ROW were placed behind! Now BADHOVEN was played at radio stations in Peru (Lima), Argentine and Brazil.
2004 many things happened within and around the band. In September the recordings of the new album began although the band knew that JACKY GREILBERGER was leaving the band at the end of the year for occupational reasons. The recordings were great and in November the band did their last gig in the original line-up at the PLANET in Vienna. There BADHOVEN supported the legendary Austrian hardrockers NO BROS.
2005 is the year of the new album called BELIEVE. Ten great songs and the video of the title track were opening new doors to reach out for a bigger audience.
In June DOM E. NICK (19) joined the band as the new bassguitar player and as a free member. Actually he is a guitarist in his own band called FRIGHTLINER but for BADHOVEN the talented young guy learned to play JACKY's fretless bassguitar and the new program within two weeks!!! At the live-presentation of the new album at the EXPLOSIV in Graz/Austria he played a damned good gig. The performance was really great.
On November 10th 2006 the gig at the Orpheum in Graz/Austria was filmed with seven cameras to release the live-DVD "Captured Live" in March 2007.
