Artist Bio
AVIATOR SHADES
Aviator Shades are a living, breathing, gloriously retro young Irish hard rock band based in Maynooth. Like the Gods of 80's metal, who paved the way for some of the greatest rock anthems ever written, Aviator Shades play with the same passion and drive that has propelled many bands into the annuals of rock and have produced their latest E.P. to stand up and be counted with the best.
Recorded in 2 days in a secluded studio in Co. Meath Ireland, The Aviator Shades E.P. is an exuberant, captivating, melody drenched classic hard rock E.P.
Aviator Shades are an exceptional group of brilliant young musicians drawn together by a love of crafting no-nonsense, honest, traditional hard rock oriented anthems. Like many young Irish bands they cut their teeth playing classic rock cover songs by artists such as Guns N Roses, Bon Jovi, Thin Lizzy and AC/DC in their teens.
Only in their early twenties, Aviator Shades, who comprise of charismatic Guitarist/Front man Dave Gorman, Guitar Virtuoso Graeme Walsh, Grooving Bass Player Mendoza Savage plus Solid as a Rock drummer Roger Moran, have already played a host of top venues in Dublin, and are now looking to take over the world with their swaggering, slick and stylish brand of rock captured on the Aviator Shades E.P.
Quotes:
"Aviator Shades are a band that take influence from a wide berth of 80s power rock, metal and some older generation metal, a berth which shows they know their genre well, and know how to craft an impressive marksmanship into material which has and will continue to win them admirers. I expect we'll hear a lot more to come from these guys as they begin to look further afield than Dublin now, having already played many top venues there." Frequency Ireland review of the EP.
