Arthemis are a Heavy-Thrash Metal band formed in 1994. Their music reflects the dark side of Hard Rock fused with a modern touch of top quality Heavy-Thrash Metal. The four-piece line-up gives us an extraordinary proof of uplifting music led by explosive catchy guitar riffs, pounding drums and blazing vocals.
During its career Arthemis has released 4 full-length albums for the World Heavy Metal market, especially in Japan, where the band is very well known, and are about to release the new killer album "BLACK SOCIETY" which will be available in early 2008 and will include their first video clip titled 'Angels In Black'.
Showing an incredible stage attitude and a powerful wall of sound that makes their shows astonishing and unique, Arthemis have played hundreds of live performances, tours, and festivals around Europe, supporting & co-headlining with several famous names in Metal, such as Slayer, Malmsteen, Hammerfall, Glenn Hughes, George Lynch, Ian Paice (Deep Purple), Blaze (ex-Iron Maiden), Within Temptation and Cradle of Filth. The band also appeared in different Hard Rock/Heavy Metal SKY -TV Shows, like 'Rock TV Sala Prove' and 'Rock TV Database'. Currently the band is touring and promoting their new forthcoming album "Black Society".
