3 WISHES are based in Hamburg/Germany and they present fresh and powerful hard rock with their own unmistakable style and high recognition that was confirmed by the press world wide. 3 WISHES did not only convince through their CD releases so far, they also enthuse through brilliant live performances.
The band exists since the year 1997, but was just complete with the entry of singer Andi in 2000. Todays line up is as follows: Andreas Knaak (vocals), Michael Degen (guitars), Holger Niedrich (bass), Arthur Qoku (keyboards) und Victor Falconi (drums).
2001 the band released their debut album ‚Electric Bullride’ that was not only loved by rock fans, but also convinced the national and international press. Magazines were positivly surprised that 3 WISHES deliver songs in such high quality.
2003 the successor album ‚Shake Well Before Use’ was published. Due to the good job of the disstribution with ALIVE the bands publicity grew a lot. 3 WISHES made the audience to get into their music by playing live all over Germany. They took part of several festivals and were supporting bands like Bonfire, Jeff Scott Soto, Mike Tramp and Thunder on Tour.
2006 the third album ‚In Your Eyes’ was released and performed by the band live on stage.
2007 the orininal drummer Victor Falconi came back on board. Duing his absence Yannis Anastasakis replaced him and recorded the album ‚In Your Eyes’.
3 Wishes arranged their own studio and started working on their next album that should be released in 2008...

Melodic rockers THREE WISHES return with their excellent new album 'In Your Eyes' and if you like bands like Jaded Heart and Fair Warning then you should love these guys. I caught up with singer Andi Knaak and guitarist Michael Degen to find out more about the new CD.
Three Wishes were formed in 1998 and prior to 'In Your Eyes' the band have released two studio albums and have toured with the likes of JSS, Thunder and Bonfire and already hard at work on a new album due for release in the summer of 2008. 'We always try to have a good mixture of soft tracks and faster rock songs' says Michael. 'I compose the lyrics that are usually based on personal experiences' adds Andi 'and we spent four week in a professional studio'. 'It was really hard work' chirps in Michael, it took me a few days to find the right guitar sounds. I tried a lot of different amps and microphone positions, before I got the sound I was looking for.
'It was an amazing time in the studio' says Andi, 'We had our own apartment upstairs where we all lived together. We really had big fun making this record'. Michel adds 'We had a very strong company within the band and it worked so good, because we all are best friends anyway, also when we’re not playing music together. It’s always a kind of holiday when we are together in the studio or on tour even if there’s a lot of stress and work and less sleep.'
The press has also shown interest in the band with favourable reviews. ‘The bands fanbase is on the increase. More and more people are coming back to their shows thanks mainly to good support slots with the above bands, as well as a tour with the mighty House Of Lords. 'oh that was an amazing evening' beams Andi. 'We met a lot of very nice people out there and made new friends'
Andi is positive in regards to the live scene 'I like the scene how it is now. Maybe there could be a bit more live clubs and promotion possibilities for the underground bands like us. But all in all I’m happy with it.' 'We take it as it is and always try to make the best out of it' adds Michael. 'Do it by your own or nothing’s done' says Andi, 'the music scene is full of people who talk too much, but don’t do anything. The hardest part is to find the few persons you can trust in.
