FIREWORKS Issue 89 Out Now

The brand new, massive issue #89 of FIREWORKS arrives the week of Dec 9th (in shops Thursday Dec 12th). We chat to cover stars LORDI as they tell us all about their fabulous new concept album where they have recorded imagined LORDI hits through the decades using authentic production techniques of the various eras, including the first ever song Mr Lordi has never had a hand in writing – a genuine 1980s Jean Beauvooir/Paul Stanley unreleased song.  How cool is THAT?!
Also taking the authentic recording route are Axxis, and we chat to the guys about re-recording their favourite songs from the first five EMI releases. If you've never experienced the pure unadulterated joy of Axxis, this is the perfect place to start.
Magnum have an awesome new release, 'The Serpent Rings', which Tony Clarkin and Bob Catley tell us all about. We also chat to bassist/singer/producer/guitarist Dennis Warm about his decision to join the band and what that means for Pink Cream 69.
I'm sure many of you were fans of Saracen way back, especially their 'Heroes, Saints & Fools' album. So what has mainman Rob Bendelow been up to? Simply put, he's written and recorded a superb new album with Crystal Viper's Marta Gabriel. The band is called Moon Chamber and Rob reveals all the details behind this surprising but superb collaboaration. Elsewhere we interview Tom Keifer, Blind Guardian, Edenbridge, The Flower Kings, Flying Colors, Rox, Kobra & The Lotus, Lacuna Coil, Work Of Art, Carl Dixon and many, many more!!
