Australian melodic rock band THE RADIO SUN have announced 'Heaven Or Heartbreak' as the title of their upcoming new album. After a very promising 2014 which saw the band release their debut album 'Wrong Things Right' (MRR) to very favorable reviews and some great live gigs, including an appearance at Melodic Rock Fest 4 in Chicago, U.S.A.
The Radio Sun got straight back to work by writing new original material. With the songwriting flowing the boys released the Spaceman EP in March 2015 which featured the much talked about Ace Frehley original song/tribute and anthemic 'Never Knock A Believer' - the Football Anthem which will see The Radio Sun boys promoting the song at various Australian Football League related events in the coming year.
The Radio Sun from downunder, will continue their climb up the ladder with the upcoming new full length album 'Heaven Or Heartbreak' - mixed by Paul Laine (solo, ex Danger Danger, Dark Horse).
HEAVEN MEETS HELL - Saturday 6th June will host two hard and heavy genres of music with melodic rockers The Radio Sun & melodic metallers Black Majesty @ Musicland, Fawkner, Vic. Australia....definitely one to lock in the diary for the month of June.
The Radio Sun record Roxus song on new Spaceman EP
Aussie melodic rockers have just released an ep/cd titled Spaceman which contains songs that will not be featured on the upcoming second full length album.
Vocalist Jason goes on to say that songs like 'Spaceman' and 'Never Knock A Believer' were fun projects, stylistically a bit different for the band but heavy rock nonetheless, yet with the interest they created we thought we'd make them available on hard copy cd".
Guitarist Stevie goes onto say that "the Roxus 'Body Heat' track was recorded as a 'tip of the hat' to a band we all grew up with. Roxus were Australia's best and they should have been bigger".

Guitarist Stevie Janevski goes on to say 'all of us in The Radio Sun grew up on a healthy diet of KISS and in particular were all inspired by the original spaceman Ace Frehley. This song is a bit of fun and is not meant to defame anyone in particular but rather a stance acknowledging the original SpaceMan'.
People can hear the song here:
The Radio Sun will release their second full length album mid 2015, currently being mixed by Paul Laine (ex Danger Danger). *SpaceMan will not be on the upcoming album but rather something special the band put together before the full length album's release.

Australia's The Radio Sun have been very busy since they formed in 2012. With past members from the excellent Square One and some of Melbourne's best local musos, The Radio Sun are about catchy rocking songs with an emphasis on layered vocal harmonies somewhere in between Rick Springfield, Nelson, Firehouse and The Marvelous 3.
After locking in Paul Laine (solo, Danger Danger, Shugaazer) to mix the band's debut album in 2013, The Radio Sun impressed so much that Paul Laine asked the guys to be his backing band on his recent tour downunder. The Radio Sun will also do double duty at next year's MelodicRockFest 4 by again being a part of the Paul Laine band and then performing the very next day in their own showcase set. Things are definitely looking up for the boys from downunder with their debut album Wrong Things Right to be released through MelodicRockRecords May 19.
The album cover and CD package was crafted by the always awesome Swedish artist Monowasp.
