GLENN TIPTON Struck By Parkinsons

  GLENN TIPTON/JUDAS PRIEST DIAGNOSED WITH PARKINSONS   Ten years ago Glenn was diagnosed to have the onset of the early stages of Parkinson's - from then until recently Glenn has lived his life as the great heavy metal guitar player he has always been, maintaining by his own definition a standard of quality and performance that is incredibly important. Right now Glenn is able to play and perform some of the Priest songs that are less challenging but due to the nature of Parkinson's progression he wants to let you all know that he won't be touring as such.

R.I.P. Mr. Big's PAT TORPEY; We Salute You

  PAT TORPEY, FOUNDING MEMBER OF MR.BIG, DIES AT 64   Drummer and founding member of MR. BIG, Pat Torpey, passed away Wednesday, February 7 at the age of 64 from complications of Parkinson’s disease. Family, band and management request privacy at this very difficult time. Services are pending.

TOTO Tribute 'Fanfields 2' Compiled on MRR CD Release

  On March 30, MelodicRock Records will partner with Fanfields to present a stunning tribute to Toto.   Fanfields 2 was released in limited form late in 2017, and digital earlier this year. The whole project comprised of some 59 songs, featuring over 100 musicians.   MRR was so impressed with the quality of the performances and production, that the label pitched the idea to further help raise awareness of this project and help raise some additional funds for the charities (ALS Foundation, Cancer Fund and the Michael Porcaro Sweet Relief Musicians Fund), plus show of the very best performances in a limited edition physical CD release.
